Our History
Privately owned, Bender US was purchased in 2008 by Michael and Randy Potter. In 2010, with a goal of expanding the company’s field service capabilities, the brothers purchased California Centrifugal Pump repair company, CCP, and relocated it to Vernon where it would operate under one roof with Bender US. With each company bringing decades of rotating equipment experience and a seasoned team of expert technicians with complementary skills, the companies together offered an unmatched capacity and, in 2015, were merged to become one company Bender CCP, Inc.
Bender CCP continued to experience dynamic growth in serving customers within government and commercial shipping, aerospace, hydropower and other power generation plants. To serve the growing customer base, Bender CCP made a series of acquisitions along the Pacific Rim to grow machine shop capacity to 350,000 sqft, add tooling capability and bring top talent onto the Bender team.
Today, Bender CCP is one of the leading machine shops in the Western Region along with sister company, Unico Mechanical.

1969 Unico Services, Inc. Founded
Founded by Gordon Potter focused on equipment repair services in Northern California
1978 California Centrifugal Pump (CCP) Founded
Primarily focused on Rotating Equipment Repair Services in California
2008 The Potters’ Acquired “Bender”
Vernon, CA Facility modernized, upgraded and expanded
2010 The Potters’ Acquired California Centrifugal Pump
Relocated to Vernon, CA and expanded capabilites
