Travis has been with Bender CCP since 2021, starting off as Production Manager at our San Diego location, and shortly thereafter being promoted to General Manager. His passion, skill and strong work ethic made assigning him to this position, an easy decision. “I am excited about our future at Bender CCP and I look forward to growing the business into the future.” said Travis. His experience in ship repair is quite impressive, in fact Travis has been in the Marine and Ship Repair industry for over 21 years! He started in 2003 where he worked as a Machinist Helper for his families company, Collins Marine Repair. Eventually, he became the Production Supervisor of Collins Marine Repair, before moving onto BAE Systems in 2014. Travis served multiple roles at BAE Systems, including Estimating, Project Management, and Production, eventually serving his last 6 years there as Machine Shop Manager. Since Travis joined Bender CCP in 2021, he has been an essential part of our San Diego operation and we are excited to now have him as Director of Ship Repair across all of our locations. The President/CEO of Bender CCP, Mike Potter, said “Travis has been an exceptional employee and will do a great job in this new position. We are excited for the future of Ship Repair with Travis at the helm!”
